We’ve been using the Money Merge Account Software System since 2007 and we are on our way to be debt free, mortgage free faster than we could have ever thought. Right now we’re enjoying our lives living in our 40 foot motorhome on Puget Sound. We couldn’t have done this without the Money Merge Account program and United First Financial.
I haven’t had a chance to write lately. I’ve been wanting to and meaning to but I’ve been busy with my husband moving out of our home and into our Dream. Our 40′ Alpine Coach Motorhome.
Dreams Do Come True
Thirteen years ago when we first moved from Hawaii to California, our dream was to buy an RV and live in it and enjoy the entire US. Well, we recently did it! We downsized from our 2300 sq ft home into our 400+ sq ft Motorhome. Why it took us 13 years? As the saying goes, “Life gets in the way”. (personally, I think it’s having a J.O.B.)
Last spring we made it our goal to find the best RV to our liking. We knew back in 1996 which coach would have been the “one”, but that RV was now too old. What we did realize by waiting (justification) was that technology in the travel trailer industry was now up to speed.
We’ve had a business from home since 1990 (we learned you get lots of tax advantages early on) and we were both interested in making sure we could still work from the motorhome. Our (my) biggest concern was internet access. We found out that most RV parks had free WiFi, (that took care of my addiction) and since we both have cell phones, no landline was needed. Along with the WiFi and phone connections, we are pleased to know that cable is available at most parks for our TV needs and if not we have our satellite dish. So it’s business as usual, just now it’s on wheels.
Although, we’ve only been in the coach full-time now for a month, I could not be happier with our decision. I know it’s taken me away from focusing on my business, but it’s been worth it. I have to remind myself that I’m not on a vacation everyday, even though that’s how it feels, and I’m now settling into a routine for our United First business to become our number one goal.
Following our desire to control our destiny led us to find United First Financial and without the Money Merge Account and UDeduct we probably would still be dreaming of living in our RV. Making the right financial decisions with the help of our personal financial “GPS” now let’s us live our dream in full color.
This morning before I jumped on the airplane, I was surfing the web and becuase I’m an addict and I found this new application by Citrix.
GoView ~ You can send (email) a quick presentation to a friend who needs help with an application, or build content that’s intended for a larger audience.
Currently I use GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar by Citrix to explain my business with United First Financial to clients and asssociates, and I can see how this will help me in keeping in front of them even more efficiently and effectively. Sometimes sending a text email just doesn’t cut it and a short screenshot or video to explain something I know will come in very handy. Right now with U1st our Bizpack Business in a box has GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar, but I hope that in the near future GoView will be added. In the meantime, I’ll see how I can demo the product on my own.
I made it a point not to go to my J.O.B. today so that I could watch the Obama Inauguration coverage live on TV and I’m glad I did. I know I could have just watched videos of the Inauguration online over the next couple of days, however I just don’t think it would have been the same. History was made the day Obama won the Presidential election in November, but this too was History in the making. I personally never thought I’d see the day the American people would elect a non-white President. But, things are a changin’.
I’ve been reflecting throughout the day on President Obama’s speech and how his words will affect my life and blogging this short message I can see that it already has. I watched Our President take his Oath to LEAD our Country and it gives me hope that I too can LEAD. His commitment to all of us is enormous and will be full of challenges and every day he will make decisions large and small to keep the United States safe and prosperous.
My Oath to LEAD. It maybe not the same as the Presidents Oath, but nevertheless it’s a commitment to my business with United First Financial and those families and individuals that I have recently touched. A commitment to continue to show as many people as possible how easy it is to truly live a debt free life and to focus only on that goal. “Keeping up with the Jones’” can no longer be our motto considering it has only gotten our entire country in debt.
As President Obama takes the helm and begins his first term with an economy that he, WE, must turn around, I take my pledge here and now to be a part of positive progress and teach others how they too can make simple and small steps in the right direction and dig out of the hole we are currently burried in.
With that said, I WANT YOU if you want an opportunity to be a part of the crusade! Let us help President Obama LEAD this Country out of debt. I’ll do it one at a time, but we can do it faster together as a Team.
p.s. I have a J.O.B. because I am a slave to a paycheck, but this is not how I want to live my life. I am making changes right now with United First Financial because it’s a system that works based on just math. It’s the education we should have gotten in school, but as they say “better late than never”.
Is your business on the Map? It’s FREE! I just joined Mlmlocal to create another means of advertising my United First Financial business. Along with other United First Financial Agents we are able to map the locations of all of our home based businesses. I’ve been reviewing some new blogs and websites on web 2.0 and all the new ways to get yourself and business out to market. I have been learning about ‘branding’, blogging and using social media like twitter to join other like minded individuals. Let me tell you it is very time consuming, but I know all the work I’m doing now to try and keep pace is all worth it. Which brings me to putting United First Financial on the Map. Take a look at mlmlocal.com and put your business on the map. Like I said “It’s FREE”
I just finished going thruogh my last weeks mail. I can not believe how much junk mail I receive. Does anyone know of a “Do Not Junk Mail” List? You know like we have the “Do Not Call” list. I’d be signing up today considering it just all ended up in my recycle bin. I don’t know if colored print can go into this bin, but it was paper so in it went. Maybe I’ll start sending it back to the post office and let them dispose of it. Can you imagine how many trees we could save if we had no junk mail? Even half would save us over time. I can’t wait until United First Financial eliminates our paper trail and all documents are online. I’ll feel like we’re doing our part.
I had last Thursday off from my Hawaiian flight schedule, so I decided to catch up on a United First Financial webinar I had missed the previous week. I try to make it online with a new client once a week, but since I had worked everyday this past week I didn’t reconfirm with my neighbor to make sure she would be online with me.
I should have called her instead of emailing her because as most of us know, life gets in the way more than we’d like it to when it comes to making a slight change in our schedules. She apologized, I apologized and have committed to being on this weeks live webinar with Lynn Spencer. I have a good feeling she’ll have the time this week since it’s a ‘holiday week’ and the work load is lighter. Also, since she doesn’t even have to leave her house to see the webinar to enlighten her on how to pay off her mortgage and debt, she’ll be comfortable knowing no one can expect her to interact unless she has questions for me when I call her after Lynn does the real work. This United First business couldn’t be easier with how techology has come around. When she’s ready, I’ll make her a twitter too.
Okay, I know that if I have too many things on my plate, I don’t really get anything done. It’s not helping that I’m a Libra and it goes with the territory. I’ve tried making a list of to do’s for the day, the week, and each day seems to just pass on to the next. I guess eliminating one to do is not enough if it doesn’t include making more than one business call to a United First Financial lead. Right now life is just gettting in the way and it’s making me a little upset. It could drive a person to drink, but then I would have to worry about being arrested like the bachelor girl Mary Delgado.
I had a chance to login to our Ubranding forum yesterday evening and the voting was over for our Money Merge Account website competition.Financialfreedomresolution.com didn’t place first but the knowledge I received from the process was worth all the effort I put in.I learned also that we all are very passionate and determined to bring United First Financial into every household. The more positive and personal results we share with those looking for a change in their financial future the better for our entire Country as a whole.Considering the mess we are bombarded with every day in the News, we the people have to make the individual changes first, see and feel the results and then create a synergy amongst a small group and let that momentum roll into a full movement that will be the norm.Change is difficult until it becomes what everybody else is doing.
I made time yesterday for my business obligation that I made to be online for my website review and I missed it.I didn’t miss logging in and waiting to hear how I could make my site better but Brooke couldn’t see that I was online and so the call ended. He was gracious enough to have this training and review and luckily I was online for other sites that he reviewed and pretty much made changes to my site that made sense. It’s important that all of us in this training do our best and take the Money Merge Account mainstream. Now that we all have had a chance to improve we will make United First Financial proud.
